OUR STORY

EST 2018 | UNTIL FOREVER

Indestructible MFG was founded in 2018 by tattoo artist Matt Vanasse and barber Dan Brenndorfer.

What started as a small project in the basement of a barbershop has grown into a brand supported by people all over. Built through long nights, road trips, pop ups, and word of mouth, Indestructible came from the communities we were already part of.

Rooted in tattooing, barbering, motorcycles, alternative music, and workwear, the brand is shaped by the people and places around us. The inspiration has always been simple: make solid products with strong artwork, honest construction, and a point of view that lasts.

STARTED IN A BARBERSHOP

Dan was working at a barbershop in Toronto when Matt randomly booked a haircut after seeing a photo of him wearing a fedora crooked on his head. That appointment turned into a friendship built around motorcycles, tattoos, music, and creating things together.

In the early days, every order was packed by hand. Weekends were spent setting up at swap meets, markets, and motorcycle shows across Canada, doing whatever it took to get the brand in front of people.

BUILT THROUGH COMMUNITY

Indestructible grew naturally through the support of the communities around it. Riders, tattooers, barbers, musicians, artists, and people who connected with what we were building helped carry the brand far beyond where it started.

Over time, that growth expanded into the United States, where a large part of the brand now operates. While Toronto will always be part of our foundation, building a presence in California opened the door to a larger community and the next chapter of the brand.

BUILT TO LAST

ROOTED IN TRADITION

Everything we make is influenced by timeless design, everyday wearability, and the idea that good products should hold up over time. From heavyweight tees and outerwear to gloves and accessories, the goal has always stayed the same: create pieces that feel honest, wearable, and made to be lived in.
